Two COVID-19 patients escape in Borno

Two individuals who tested positive for the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic escaped in Borno State, sending frenzy of mass contaminations.

Borno Health Commissioner, Salisu Kwayabura at a media briefings on Sunday, said the two patients absconded suddenly subsequent to finding that they had tested positive of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He gave the names of the patients as Abbas Kaka Hassan, 24 and Hauwa Mohammed, 42.

As indicated by the official, the team left the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, where they should get treatment.

He included that Abbas was in phone contact with the response team after his sample was taken, yet in the long run turned off his telephone when he learnt he was tested positive.
