Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District (2015-2019), Senator Binta Masi Garba has expressed shock over the demise of Senator Paul Wampana
In a condolence message posted on her Facebook page, the Senator described the death of Wampana as a big loss not only to his immediate family but to the people of Adamawa and Nigeria at large.
She said Paul Wampana was a man who stood for his people and a true democrat who contributed enormously to nation-building when he was alive.
“I am saddened to hear of the demise of Senator Paul Wampana, a true democrat who gave his all for his people. He was an amazing person to have around and was always doing everything for common good-he was a knowledgeable and accommodating person.
“I’m so lucky to have met him in this life. I will always cherish and treasure his fatherly advice but will miss his light, his sun, and his developmental contributions to our fatherland.
My prayers and thoughts are with the family during this painful time. They are are not alone.
“May the good Lord grant his soul eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss. Once again, my condolences”.

There are over 50 fake Facebook accounts created by fraudsters with her name to defraud people.
The former legislator reveals that any programme or assistant would be announced officially through her foundation.
As celebrities, high profiled personalities, politicians and businessmen over the week reacts to the lockdown in Nigeria and refers to the situation as an unfortunate one. Most especially to those that must go out to get their daily bread. Many of them reach out to the less privileges, sharing food items and crediting various accounts with a stipend to enable them to feed themselves and their family.
Scammers have found that as an opportunity to scam internet users, creating fake social media accounts asking people for bank accounts number and ATM cards details or requesting for money promising to send packages.
Binta was not exempted as fraudsters create over 50 fake Facebook accounts using her name and pictures defrauding people.
The Senator posted on her official Facebook page that she is not doing any giveaway or asking for bank account details for COVID-19 stimulus.
Binta added that when you see anything like that, it’s a FRAUD, run and report appropriately.
She said, if she will do an empowerment programme or reach out to the less privilege it will be through her foundation or be announced via appropriate channels.
“FRAUD ALERT: This is to inform friends and supporters that, I, Senator Binta Masi Garba doesn’t request for anybody’s account number on Facebook or do any #COVID-19 giveaway.
Plus, I don’t use any Facebook account but this page which I use for enlightening my supporters.
Any Facebook account requesting for your bank account details or referring you to someone for a job of any kind its not from Senator Binta Masi Garba.
