Vision 2050: Buhari Inaugurates Committee on Nigeria Development Agenda for next 30years

President Muhammadu Buhari has set up the 30years Nigeria Development Agenda, Vision 2050, under the leadership of businessman Atedo Peterside and Minister of Finance, Budget and Planning, Zainab Ahmed.

Nigeria’s vision 2050 is expected to lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty as a result of the World Bank’s forecast that by 2040 the population of Nigerians will reach 400 million.

The Vision 2050 committee inaugurated will inherit Nigeria’s Vision 2020 program launched by the late Umar Yar’Adua’s government in 2009, and the 2017 ERGP set up to revive the Nigerian economy.

The committee set up by the government will consist of six governors, one from each region of the country, as well as parliamentarians, senators, ministers, representatives of agencies and major parties, businessmen and journalists, and so on.
